But we are more than a competitive swim team. Through the Opelika Swim School, we want Opelika and the surrounding communities to learn the full joys of being around and in the water.

Opelika Swim Team Mission and Vision

The Opelika Swim Team Swimming aims to provide a nationally recognized aquatics program to those in Opelika and surrounding communities.

Opelika Swim Team provides a comprehensive teaching and training program. Practices are focused on stroke technique and learning invaluable life lessons such as hard work, teamwork, sportsmanship, personal accountability, and achievement.

Not only does the Opelika Swim Team promote competitive swimming as a sport, but it also promotes developing responsibility, sportsmanship and character within its athletes. Opelika Swim Team offers enhancement for swimmers of all ages and abilities, emphasizing individual progress, team unity, and family participation while in a safe and protective environment for all.
